Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. This page explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

Last updated: June 13, 2026

1.Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Goalmetry ("Goalmetry", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal data when you visit our website or use our football analytics platform (the "Service").

We act as the data controller for the personal data described here. Goalmetry is operated by Goalmetry Technology, with registered address at 11280 Granite Ridge Drive, Suite 200, The Ridges — Summerlin, Las Vegas, NV 89135, USA. By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Policy.

2.Information We Collect

We only collect the data we need to run the Service:

  • Account data — your name, email address and an encrypted (hashed) password when you register.
  • Billing data — your subscription plan and billing status. Payments are processed by Stripe; your full card number is handled directly by Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
  • Usage & technical data — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and basic interaction logs, used to operate, secure and improve the Service.
  • Cookies — an essential session cookie that keeps you signed in (see Cookies).
  • Support communications — any messages you send us by email.

The Service analyzes football match data (fixtures, statistics, standings and results). That match data is not personal data about you — it concerns teams and competitions, not our users.

3.How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
  • To process subscriptions, payments and renewals through our payment provider.
  • To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To analyze usage and improve features, performance and reliability.
  • To respond to your requests and provide support.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

5.Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you authenticated while you use the dashboard. It is required for the Service to function and is not used for advertising.

We do not sell your data or use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, but doing so will sign you out.

6.How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Stripe — our payment processor, to handle subscriptions and billing securely.
  • Infrastructure & hosting providers — that store and serve the application under contract.
  • Football data providers — from whom we ingest match data. We send them no personal data about you; the flow is one-way (we receive match data).
  • Authorities — when required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the security of the Service.

These providers are bound to use your data only to perform services for us.

7.International Data Transfers

Our providers (such as Stripe and hosting infrastructure) may process data in countries outside your own, including outside Brazil or the EU/EEA. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses — to protect it in line with the LGPD and GDPR.

8.Data Retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, billing records) to comply with legal obligations.

9.Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and regular review of our systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authority of a data breach where the law requires it.

10.Your Rights

Subject to the LGPD and GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we process your data and access it.
  • Correct incomplete or inaccurate data.
  • Delete your data, or request anonymization where applicable.
  • Request portability of your data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@goalmetry.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority — the ANPD in Brazil, or your local supervisory authority in the EU/EEA.

11.Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

12.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
